Adding/Removing Tags to Flags

Organize communication within a project with ease by using our tagging feature.

 

Accessing Tags in the App

  1. Open the OnStation app, and select the project you would like to work in.
    Note: The app will open to the last project you were working in.
  2. Tap the Flag of interest.
  3. Tap the Tags icon.


  4. Tap the Add+ to the right of the Tags menu  
  5. This will show you the tags already assigned under the "Assigned Tags" section as well as additional tags that exist in your organization's tag library under "Project Tags

Removing A Tag

  1. To Remove a Tag already associated to the Flag click the X next to the Tag name under the Assigned Tags section. Then tap the Green Arrow icon next to the flag name to save your changes

    2. You should then see the Flag updated to remove the tags

Adding A Tag From Existing Library

  1. Start entering text into the search bar or tap on the Tag names you want to add and you will see them get added to the Assigned Tags section
  2. When you have selected the Tag(s) desired, then tap the Green Arrow icon next to the flag name to save your changes

Adding A Custom Tag for Personal Use

If you don't see a tag that you want to add, you can add a Custom tag for yourself via the OnStation App by following these steps.

  1. Start entering text into the search bar of the name of the Tag you want to create.
  2. Tap on the "Add Custom Tag" menu
  3. Make any changes to the name of the tag and then tap "Add"
  4. Tap on the newly added Custom tag to associate it to the flag.
  5. Then tap the Green Arrow icon next to the flag name to save your changes

Adding A Custom Tag for Organizational Use

Note: These steps regarding creating Custom Tags for an Organization are performed in the OnStation Portal.  For information on how to log into the portal see article:  How to login to the portal

  1. Via the Portal Click on the Tags menu
    1. You will see any "out of the box" OnStation tags that have been created for all OnStation customers to use from our Tag library.  These will not display a option next to them.  This is an indicator that these are the standard tags available with your OnStation license.
  2. To Create a new Tag for your Organization click on "ADD TAG"
  3. Type the name of the Tag you would like to create and then click on "ADD TAG" in this menu
  4. You should now see this Tag in your Tags menu in the Portal with an option to remove if/when needed
  5. You should also see this Tag is now available via the App when navigating to "Tags" menu within a Flag
