Step 1: Download the app and open it

Once installed, open the app. You'll land on the login screen.
Tap Create Account below the Send Login Code button to start signing up.
Tap Create Account to begin.
Step 2: Enter your name and job title
Fill in your name and job title, then tap Next.
Enter your first name, last name, and job title (optional), then tap Next.
Step 3: Enter your work email and phone number
Add your work email and mobile number, then tap Next.
Enter your work email address and cell phone number, then tap Next.
Step 4: Set your preferences and agree to the terms
Choose your notification preferences and agree to the Terms of Service before
tapping Sign Up.
Let us know how you heard about OnStation, choose whether you'd like email/app notifications and SMS/text messages, and agree to the OnStation Terms of Service.
Tap Sign Up to create your account.
Step 5: Select your organization
Search for your organization by name. DOT results and other agencies appear as you type.
Search for your organization by name — try your DOT, agency, or company name.
Don't see your organization in search? Not sure what to search? Check Suggested for You — it may already be listed.
Tap your organization to select it — you'll see a checkmark and confirmation — then tap Confirm Selection.
Once you find your organization, tap it to select it, then tap Confirm Selection.
Can't find your organization? Tap Can't find your organization? on this screen, or tap Skip for now to continue without one — you can add an organization later from Settings.
Step 6: Verify your email
We'll send a verification link to the email you signed up with. This may take a minute to arrive.
After confirming your organization, check your email for a verification link and click it to verify your account. If you don't see it, tap Resend Email once the timer runs out.
If you choose Verify Later, you'll see this warning — you can still verify anytime from Settings.
What you'll see before you're verified or approved
Until you're verified and approved, you'll see "No Organization" here — the Nearby tab still shows public projects near you.
Until your email is verified — and, depending on your organization's process, until an org admin confirms you — you'll see No Organization at the top of the app.
Checking your verification and organization status
Settings shows your verification status and any pending organization requests. Tap Verify Email if you still need to confirm your address.
You can check your verification status and any pending organization requests anytime from Settings.
Licensing after sign-up
Once you sign up and access a project, you're automatically assigned a 7-day trial license so you can start exploring OnStation right away. After the trial ends, you'll need to contact an admin at your organization to be assigned a full license.
