🔑 You’re in charge and have control over who sees what you share in OnStation.
Location
To use OnStation, you must enable the app to use your location services. However, the app does not actively track where you are (unless the app is open) or what you’re doing on the job site - no big brother!
Project Information Stored in OnStation
Flag & Chat/Camera Notes
OnStation always errs on the side of privacy. When you create a flag or camera note in the app, that information is only visible to you and no one else on the project. In order for others to see your created flags or camera notes, you must choose to share that flag or camera note with another OnStation user.
Projects
You may have noticed our new Project Search feature. Only OnStation users, who access this feature from the app, can see the access code for your project. When non-OnStation users view the Project Search, each project’s access code is hidden, and that person must request the access code from OnStation staff.
OnStation projects are created by request using publicly available files, submitted by the requesting party. When the project is released in the app, users input a 5-digit access code to sync the project to their device. We structure our projects like this because we believe our app will benefit anyone who touches this project. Accessing a project in OnStation, however, does not grant you access to data or information created by other OnStation users on that project.
