# Enabling Notifications
## OnStation can send notification when you have been added to a flag & chat and when similar updates are available. To ensure that you are receiving these from the app you will need to enable the following settings.
### Turn on App Notifications
### Check your notifications in OnStation.
1. From the project page, tap the **gear icon** in the top right corner.
2. Scroll to **Notifications**. If it's off, tap to enable it.
3. Tap **Allow** when your phone asks for permission.
### Check Device Settings
#### **Android Devices**
1. Open your phone's Settings.
2. Tap **Apps**.
3. Tap the OnStation app.
4. Under "App settings" tap **Notifications**.
5. Turn on notification by selecting "**Show notifications**".
#### **iOS Devices**
1. Go to Settings  \> **Notifications**.
2. Select OnStation
3. Turn **Allow Notifications** on
