The ability to change your flag's icon can be helpful in may ways. Maybe you made a mistake using the wrong icon or the flag requires a different icon. Frequently, we find our customers use this feature to adjust the "status" of a flag.
Indicating status of issues
In the example below the user dropped a flag with a red colored icon to indicate an issue and shared that flag with a team mate. As the issue was being resolved, they changed the icon to yellow. Finally, once their progress was verified and their work completed, they changed the icon to green.
Follow the steps below to change your flag's icon:
- Open the OnStation app, and select the project you would like to work in.
Note: The app will open to the last project you were working in.
- Select the flag from the project you would like to change from the Map or from the Flags Tab located at the bottom of your screen.
Flag Details
We have redesigned the details page to more clearly display the information you need most. Now the flag actions have been moved to a simple menu at the top of the flag page.
Flag Action Menu
Once you have selected the flag to edit, tap the flag action menu at the top of the flag details page.
From this menu you can now select Edit Flag Icon and change the flag icon
