As an Android user, here are the steps to follow to activate your OnStation Beta App and to report issues when using the Beta version.
Installation Steps
As an Android user, here are the steps to follow to activate your OnStation Beta App:
- We should have already asked you for your email address associated with the Google Play Store so that we can set you up for the OnStation Beta App using your email linked to your OnStation Account.
- Click on the link provided using your device or an account signed into that email account. The link will look like the following example below. You will need to click "Accept Invite" https://play.google.com/apps/internaltest/4697981822804011721
- After you successfully "Accept Invite" Tap on 'Install' or 'Download it on Google Play' if not immediately taken to the Google Play Store and then click install.
- After you have installed the OnStation Beta App you are now ready to login and begin using this new version by tapping OPEN from the Google Play Store or tapping on the shortcut to launch. It should alert you that you are installing the Beta version (see sample screenshot below)
- You will login with your phone number or email address as you have been doing with the Production version of OnStation. You will continue to receive a two-factor authentication code as you do presently.
Note: If you receive a warning that reads that the "App not available for this account", please make sure you are logging into the Google Play Store using the email address provided. If the email address provided to us for Beta testing needs updating so you can properly test, please send us your updated email address that you use for the Google Play Store to OnStation Support.
