# Location Accuracy Settings

## OnStation uses your device's GPS and Location Settings to show you were you are on a project. Here are some settings to check to ensure that you're device is optimized for a more precise location.

### Improving Location Accuracy Settings

#### iOS Devices

1. Go to **Settings** \> **Privacy**, then select **Location Services**.
2. Select the OnStation app, then turn **Precise Location** on.

#### Android 12 & higher

1. Swipe down from the top of the screen.
2. Touch and hold Location ![](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/ttnWROZEQQuZwXjW8Xb25q-1iflXFTGliWi3MunIwjaHy07KwnwoVdJ-c1p45f202FA=w36-h36). 
     - If you don't find Location ![](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/ttnWROZEQQuZwXjW8Xb25q-1iflXFTGliWi3MunIwjaHy07KwnwoVdJ-c1p45f202FA=w36-h36): 
           1. Tap Edit ![](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/CEEAw4tZHjy-zrOM18nRm0WPUEeeDW8qZFGpwWbc7J2mmnQwss3UV6YbzZxMF7MY5f8=w36-h36) or Settings ![](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/RCXHfWbMRXmMEvZ4TMrGJANf3G8Orrww4VnS09JtE1nVjYcY6LHAOsy_gqF4tuUx=w36-h36).
           2. Drag Location ![](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/ttnWROZEQQuZwXjW8Xb25q-1iflXFTGliWi3MunIwjaHy07KwnwoVdJ-c1p45f202FA=w36-h36) into your Quick Settings.
3. Tap **Location Services** ![and then](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/3_l97rr0GvhSP2XV5OoCkV2ZDTIisAOczrSdzNCBxhIKWrjXjHucxNwocghoUa39gw=w36-h36) **Google Location Accuracy**.
4. Turn I**mprove Location Accuracy** on.

#### Android 11 & lower

1. Swipe down from the top of the screen.

     - If you don't find Location ![](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/ttnWROZEQQuZwXjW8Xb25q-1iflXFTGliWi3MunIwjaHy07KwnwoVdJ-c1p45f202FA=w36-h36):

           2. Drag Location ![](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/ttnWROZEQQuZwXjW8Xb25q-1iflXFTGliWi3MunIwjaHy07KwnwoVdJ-c1p45f202FA=w36-h36) into your Quick Settings.
3. Tap **Advanced** ![and then](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/3_l97rr0GvhSP2XV5OoCkV2ZDTIisAOczrSdzNCBxhIKWrjXjHucxNwocghoUa39gw=w36-h36) **Google Location Accuracy**.
4. Turn **Improve Location Accuracy** on.
