How to mark a Flag as Hazardous

You can now mark a flag as Hazardous. When you do this, everyone you’ve shared the flag with will get a notification it has been marked “Hazardous” AND notify users when they are within 100-ft of a Hazardous Flag.

To mark a flag as hazardous:

  1. Open the OnStation app, and select the project you would like to work in.
    • Note: The app will open to the last project you were working in.
  2. Select the flag icon
  3. Tap the Flag of interest
  4. Tap the flag action menu at the top of the flag details page
  5. The Flag title will turn yellow on the map

To unmark a flag as hazardous:

  • Note: Anyone with access to the flag and proper license can unmark a flag as hazardous
  1. Select the flag you wish to unmark.
  2. Tap the flag action menu at the top of the flag details page
  3. Select “Unmark as Hazardous”
