# Getting Started- OnStation Top 5
## We're here for you, where you are. Everything you need on a live project — location, flags, documentation, communication, and data export. Pick a task to read the full article.
**THE FIVE ACTIONS**
| **01** | [**Find your location**](https://help.onstationapp.com/knowledge/find-your-location?hsLang=en) *Where am I on this project right now?* See your live station and offset on your phone. |
| --- | --- |
| **02** | [**Drop a flag**](https://help.onstationapp.com/knowledge/add-a-flag?hsLang=en) *I need to mark something at this exact location so my team sees it.* Tap the flag icon to create and it's live to share with anyone with an OnStation license. Use tags , notes, images, and chat to keep things organized and everyone in the loop. |
| --- | --- |
| **03** | [**Take a photo**](https://help.onstationapp.com/knowledge/working-with-photos-in-onstation?hsLang=en) *I need to document what I'm seeing — right here, right now.* Tap the camera icon and take a Photo — every camera image is automatically stamped with a location, date, time, and your name. Draw on it, add a note, save it to your device, or drop it directly as a flag. |
| --- | --- |
| **04** | [**Share a flag**](https://help.onstationapp.com/knowledge/flag-chat-groups?hsLang=en) *I need to share this information with my team or another org.* Flags can be shared with one person, your whole team, or across organizations. Use this for cross-org coordination, inspector requests, and contractor handoffs. |
| --- | --- |
| **05** | [**Export project data**](https://help.onstationapp.com/knowledge/exporting-flag-data?hsLang=en) *I need flags, photos, and forms ready for a report or closeout.* In the Data Portal, filter by station range, date, tag, or user — then export as PDF, CSV, KML, or GeoJSON. |
