Accessing Your OnStation Gallery

Upon several request from our faithful users, this feature will allow you to quickly view all of the photos that you have attached to a flag & the ones that have been shared with you on a project.

Project Photos

1. Open up the project you wish to view the photo gallery 
2. Once on the project map screen, you will see the newly added OnStation gallery icon in the bottom right corner of your screen. 
3. Tap the gallery icon.  On this page you will be able to see all the photos from any flags, chats and forms that you created and that have been shared with you for this project.   If there are a lot of photos you may have to scroll to see all that exist.

4. From this gallery page, you can tap each individual photo to bring up all of the flag details associated with that photo OR you can tap on the bottom right option to "Select Images"  and select which photos you'd like to download

Flag Photos

From any flag you will see the photos taken for said flag, are now accessible via a photos menu.

1. Select a flag on a project
2. Tap on the Photos menu
3. If you would like to enlarge the photo, select the photo you wish to view 
   1. 
4. After you have selected the photo, you will also be given the option to save that photo to your phone gallery by tapping the "Save photo" icon in the top right hand corner:

How are photos added to the photo gallery?:

Method 1: Dropping a Photo in the Chat section of a Flag

1. Within a project tap on the flag icon
2. Choose your preferred Icon from the menus as desired

3. Enter a Title to name your flag and then tap "Drop Flag"
   1. 
4. Navigate to the chat tab  
   1. 
5. Add a photo by tapping the camera icon at the bottom right portion of your screen.
   1. 
6. You will then see two options to upload photo.  Both options detailed below will add the photo to the chat, photos tab, and photos gallery for the project.
   1. Take a photo - Will give you the option to open your camera and manually snap a photo of whatever information or instruction you'd like to apply to your flag.  These photos will be stamped with the location information and OnStation stamp and logo.
   2. Choose from gallery - Will give you the option to select a photo from your phones gallery, that you have already taken and previously stored.  These photos will NOT be stamped with the OnStation stamp and location information as they were not taken with the OnStation app.   
7. Once your photo has been added to the chat it will automatically be added to your OnStation gallery as well
8. You can also navigate back to the flag details page and tap the "Photos" tab which will show you all photos associated with that flag or minimize the flag details menu to take you back to the project map screen and tap the photo gallery icon in the bottom right of your screen to view all photos that you have shared or have been shared with you

Method 2: Dropping A Photo

1. Select the camera icon
   1. Tapping the camera icon will automatically open your phones camera. You can either take a photo OR select from gallery

2. Tap ok to confirm, or retry if you'd like to retake the photo
3. Next the "Photo Select Options" menu will pop up, giving you a couple options regarding your photo
   1. Save to Device - When this option is toggled on, it will automatically save the photo you just took to your phones picture gallery. When toggled off, it will only save to your OnStation photo gallery
   2. Drop as Flag - When toggled on, this photo will be dropped on your project map as a flag. When toggled off it will not be visible on the project map and will only be saved as a photo to your OnStation photo gallery

      2. Note: Whatever option settings you choose to toggle on or off will be remembered for  future dropped photos, but you will still have the option to adjust those toggled settings to your preference each time you drop a photo using the camera icon
4. Tap "Done"

5. Once done and if you kept "drop as a flag" toggled on, you will be taken directly to the details of the flag you just dropped

6. If you toggled off "drop as a flag":
   1. All you have to do is tap on the check mark in the top right hand corner and the photo will be saved to your gallery.
   2. Close out the picture by tapping the "X" in the top left hand corner and then check your phones picture gallery to confirmed it has been saved
